Celebrating Connection – June 2025 at Narangba Aged Care

June was a month filled with creativity, movement, and community spirit here at Narangba Aged Care. Our residents enjoyed a vibrant calendar of activities that brought smiles, laughter, and togetherness.

One of the most delightful highlights was Tracey’s handmade crochet fish tank; a colourful creation that brightened everyone’s day and sparked lovely conversations. Friendly competition was alive and well with energetic rounds of bocce, darts, and bowling, where camaraderie was just as important as winning.

Art sessions and Café mornings offered peaceful moments of creativity and connection, while even the simple act of folding napkins became a shared joy. Donut Day was a sweet success, filled with treats and giggles. And our pizza and quoits afternoon proved that good food and fun games are the perfect pairing.

Residents took a sweet step down memory lane during our nostalgic visit to the local candy shop; smiles were truly everywhere! The month also featured fabulous entertainment, from live brass bands and talented solo performers to the rhythm of our maraca-shaking happy hour.

We kept active with group exercise and virtual cycling adventures through stunning beach and forest landscapes. June wrapped up on a high note with a lively disco night, full of dancing, singing, and beautiful musical memories.
