August Highlights at Narangba Aged Care – A Month of Joy, Connection and Community

August was a lively month filled with heartwarming moments and engaging activities at Narangba Aged Care. Our Ekka Day celebrations brought smiles with iconic strawberry ice creams and laughter-filled festivities. Residents enjoyed scenic bus trips to Northlakes Bunnings and the Strawberry Shack, taking in fresh air and lovely company over a warm cuppa.

We welcomed baby chickens, adding joy to our environment as everyone watched them hatch and grow. Music therapy sessions struck a chord, sparking treasured memories, while early morning walks and sensory activities in Sideling encouraged connection and well-being.

A standout event was Daffodil Day, where residents dressed in yellow, enjoyed live music, and raised an impressive $442.15 for Cancer Council.
